My digital art is the product of my growing up in the coal mining environment of Kentucky, where my world was divided into 4 stratas: the sky, the mountains, the earth on which I walked, and the sub-terranean world beneath me where men and women live, eat and die in the coal mines, hundreds of feet below. Our lives, relationships and even religion, exist in layers. My digital art reflect these layers of existence--as I live and record my daily life.
